Generator Services - 60 Kilowatts and Larger Only. We do not work on smaller home generators of any kind.

Service Provided
Service is provided for diesel, natural gas and LP generator sets, large standby and prime power generators. Portable generator repair and standby power installation is also available.

Preventitive Maintenance Programs
Our preventative maintenance program is designed to meet or exceed the pump manufacturers recommended maintenance. A routine series of testing and lubrication can help extend the life of the equipment, reduce costly breakdowns, and improve reliability..

We are Equipped
Our facility is equipped to handle almost any size pump repair. Our machine shop includes services such as shaft repair, dynamic balancing, impeller and bearing replacement and seal replacements.

On Site Pump Repair
Our service fleet is equipped to perform many on site repairs. Most large industrial equipment cannot be removed and it is necessary to repair in place. We carry many standard replacement parts and provide 24 hour emergency response.

Our shop provides balance service for a variety of rotating equipment.  We are capable of balancing rotors up to 500 lbs at a variety of speeds and tolerances. 
Our balancer can exceed manufacturers specifications.  A properly balanced rotor will reduce vibration and will significantly extend the life of the bearings as well as improve performance. 
We can balance single or double plane with our state of the art Dynamic Balancing Machine. 

Fire Pump Controllers

Fire pumps and controls must be served through a licensed fire sprinkler contractor to meet code. Unauthorized service can strip the system of its UL and FM rating leaving the owner exposed to great liability should the system fail. Most new electric controllers include an automatic transfer switch to ensure that if primary power fails, the electric fire pump controller can operate from emergency power (without user intervention). Upon restoration of normal power, the electric fire pump controller will resume operation from primary power. Coastal Service is licensed and experienced in the maintenance and repair of fire pumps, controllers, automatic transfer switches, electric and diesel engines, fuel systems, jockey pumps and more. If it is in the fire pump room, we can fix it.

Transfer Switches

A generator transfer switch is needed to use an electric generator as a source of backup power for a business. Coastal Service and Supply in Largo Florida can supply manual or automatic transfer switches for a wide range of amperages as well as multiple voltages.
